Reiki for the chosen few

Posted at 3:36 pm under General

“Oh, East is east, and West is west, and never the twain shall meet” this line is were written down by Rudyard Kipling a long time back when these words seemed so true to everyone, but with the advancement of technology people have gradually breached the borders and barriers and the world has turned into a global village. In this village no culture is unique to a certain region, people from all faiths and cultures mix with each other, thereby forming a potpourri of colors and extravaganza. The ancient oriental art of reiki has gained inroads into the western world not so long time back.

The fact remains that the art of Reiki  is something that was developed in ancient Japan almost two centuries back and this art form emphasized a lot of importance on the universal life force that surrounds us and the importance of this life force in healing the human body. The Reiki healing is perhaps one of the most important reasons why reiki has gained so much popularity in the western world. If you visit any city these days, you are sure to find at least two or three reiki healing centers. The Reiki teacher is a person who goes about from place to place giving seminars and making people aware of the wonders of reiki and how they can imbibe the principles of reiki in their daily lives to make a change in their life style in order to achieve the higher goal or the truth of life.
